KNUD E. HANSEN looks forward to meeting clients and partners during the 3-day virtual expo.

KNUD E. HANSEN supports the newly signed Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark at the Virtual Maritime India Summit 2021, where we will be showing a number of projects, including (but not limited to):

• Our projects with Indian partners
• Our portfolio of current vessel designs under construction
• Our consultancy expertise on post-COVID and eco-friendly solutions
• Our digital platform for VR design development – ShipSpaceTM

We will be part of the Danish pavilion KNUD E. HANSEN in support to the newly signed Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark.

The India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, signed on both sides by our PM’s, will become a mutually beneficial arrangement to advance political cooperation, expand economic relations and green growth, create jobs and strengthen cooperation addressing global challenges and opportunities. The PM’s share a deep appreciation for the long-term relationship and cooperation between maritime companies in both and it underlines the potential for enhancing further cooperation in shipbuilding, shipdesign, maritime services and Green shipping, as well as port development. Further the PM’s see the importance of promoting and facilitating investments in science, technology, and innovation (STI) via strong public-private partnerships as an important way to accelerate technology development and the implementation of new solutions.

Collaboration in STI supports the Green Strategic Partnership by promoting and strengthening relations between authorities, small and large companies, research and higher education institutions in India and Denmark. The two sides agree to build on existing strong bilateral STI partnerships with joint calls for projects in areas such as energy, water, bio-resources, and ICT.

Looking beyond the current COVID-19 pandemic the strive on both sides to seek and grasp the opportunities for the development of new green technologies has never been more immanent.
