Bakkafrost orders new hybrid 7000 m3 wellboat (Live Fish Carrier)

One of the world’s largest wellboats to date, is to be delivered to the Faroe Islands salmon farmer Bakkafrost in 2022. The wellboat will be built at the Sefine shipyard in Turkey. The vessel will be 109 meters long and 22,2 meters wide and able to carry 1,000 tons of salmon. Designed by KNUD E. HANSEN.
