Designed for Farvandsvæsenet (the Danish Coast Guard), the Emilie Robin and her sister ship, the Martha Lerche, are ocean rescue vessels built by Nordsøværftet in Denmark. The first was delivered in April 1989 and the vessels are designed to be self-righting and are currently stationed at Hvide Sande and Thyborøn respectively.
