The vessels were built by Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft and delivered in 2001. For new routes with special requirements, the free height on upper RoRo deck has been increased.
Number of passengers has been increased to 1200 persons. Cabin deck at Deck 8 level was converted to public area.
